The temperature has dropped a bit, so bright warm summer OCBDs are appropriate this week. I am pairing a favorite orange university stripe OCBD with a pair of navy chinos. On my feet, I am wearing light tan socks with brown loafers.
I don't think I would want to wear navy chinos every day, I prefer to stay on the lighter side when it comes to my pants, generally. But, I do love them in combinations like this. Pairing dark navy chinos with green, orange, yellow or pink works absolutely fantastic. I think this kind of pairing works especially well in a more casual approach, with no sport coat, as found in the photograph above. A bit of life, color and joviality while staying simple, natural and casual.
